White Bread

1T shortening
1T salt
2t sugar
1 yeast pkg
2c water
6c flour

-heat 1 cup water, add shortening, salt and sugar
-cool with 1 cup water
-add yeast dissolved in water
-add remaining flour
-knead 10 minutes on 4 speed
-rise to double
-bake 400 25-30 minutes

Gramma Rita's Cinnamon Rolls

4 cups flour
5 T yeast
1/2 cup sugar
-mix dry

2 cup milk and lump butter warmed

feed dry into liquid with some salt

don't use all flour, kneed some and let rise 2+ hours

-roll out and coat with butter, cinnamon and brown sugar
-cut and let rise another hour

bake 15 minutes-ish at 375

Cranberry Bread

2 loaves

1 c shortening
2 c sugar
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
4 c flour
2 t soda
2 t powder
1 c nuts (optional)
2 c dried cranberries
2 cups sour cream

bake 350

Gingerbread

1/2 c spry
3/4 t salt
1 1/4 t cinnamon
1t ginger
1/4 t nutmeg
3/4 t clove
1/2 c sugar
1 egg beaten
3/4 c molasses
2 1/2 c flour
1/2 t powder
1 t soda
1 c boiling water

-blend spry, salt and spices
-add sugar and egg...beat well
-add molasses
-sift in flour, soda and powder
-add water last
-bake 45-50 at 350 in 8x8 pan

Swedish Coffee Bread

-1 package yeast with 1/4 cup warm water to foam

-3/4 cup butter
-2 cup milk
-heat on stove

-add 1 cup sugar and mix off stove

-2 eggs
-pinch salt
- 6.5-7 cups flour
-1.5 cups on table to roll

-rise to double in warm air (2-3 hours)
-kneed and make braids
-rise to double in size
-beat an egg and brush
-bake 350 45 minutes

Berries and Cream Muffins

2 1/2 cups oats (I use Red Mills)
1 cup Fat Free Greek Yogurt
2 eggs
1/4 cup Splenda
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups blueberries

Combine everything but berries in food processor and blend til smooth.  Put in a bowl and add berries.  You can use any berries, original recipie used strawberries.  Bake at 400 for 25+ minutes.  Use either tin baking liners or silicone liners.

Half Move Em Muffins

1.5c All-Bran cereal
1/2c Oats
1.5c van soymilk
mix

Add:
1 1/4c oat flour
1T baking powder
pinch salt
1 egg
1/2c sugar substitute
1/4c veg oil (or applesauce)
4T molasses
1/8c flax seeds
1T cinnamon

Banana Bread

1/2 c shortening
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c brown sugar
2 eggs

Cream...add:

bananas (3ish) mashed with 1/4t baking soda and 1T water

Mix and add:

2c flour
1 t baking powder
nutmeg
ground ginger
cinnamon

Bake 55 minutes at 350

Move 'Em Muffins

Bake on 375 for 20 minutes

3c All-Bran cereal
1c Oats
3c van soymilk
mix

Add:
2 1/2c flour
2T baking powder
1t salt
2 eggs
1c sugar
1/2c veg oil (or applesauce)
8T molasses
1/4c flax seeds
1T cinnamon

Combine both together and put into muffin pans
Makes 24 muffins

Gingerbread Pancakes

1c flour
1t baking soda
1t ginger
1/2 t cloves
1t baking powder
1/4c brown sugar
1/2t cinnamon
1/4 t salt

-combine above and sift

1/2c skim milk
1/2T molases
2 egg whites
1/2c applesauce

-combine wet stuff and then mix with dry

Pumpkin Pancakes

2c flour
2t sugar
4t baking powder
1t salt
1t cinnamon
1 1/2c milk
1c pumpkin
4 eggs separated
1/4c melted butter

-sift all dry good together
-milk, yolks, butter and pumpkin combined
-stir in dry stuff
-beat whites until stiff and fold in

Poppy Seed Bread

3c flour
2c sugar
3/4 c oil
3 eggs
1 1/2c milk
2T poppy seeds
1 1/2 t baking powder
1 1/2 t salt
1 1/2 t vanilla

-mix together, bake in greased bread pan at 350

Glaze:
1 1/2 t almond extract
1 1/2 t butter extract
confectionary sugar to glaze consistency

-mix together and glaze while warm

Zuccini Bread

2c sugar
salt
3 eggs
3 t vanilla
1 1/2 t baking powder
1c oil
2c grated zuccini
3c flour
3t cinnamon
2t baking soda

-flour, cinn, soda, powder mixed together
-mix rest together, add zucc last
-350 until toothpick comes out clean

Monkey Bread

3 cans biscuts
1c sugar
1t cinnamon
3/4 c brown sugar
3/4 c white sugar
1 stick butter
1/3 t nutmeg

-quarter biscuts
-mix sugars and spices
-use T butter to grease bundt pan
-roll quarters in sugar mix and throw in pan
-melt remaining butter and pour over top
-bake 350, 35ish minutes, until brown, flip
-best served out of oven

Blueberry Crumb Cake

2c flour
2t baking powder
1 1/2c sugar
1/4t salt
1/2 c crisco/butter
3/4c milk
2 eggs
1t vanilla
blueberries (farm raised sink, better to use wild)

-sift dry ingrediants, put some aside for top crumbs (1/4c-ish)
-add butter, milk, eggs, vanilla
-mix in blueberries
-pour into greased and floured pan
-sprinkle crumbs on top
-bake 350
